Our Vision
To obey the Great Commission mandate of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations and to equip Spirit-filled reproducing disciples who will become servant leaders in the local church and in the world.
Our Statement of Faith
- God: We believe that there is only one true, living and eternal God and that the Godhead is revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit ( Deut. 6:4; 33:27; Gen. 1:1; Matt. 6:9; Isa. 9:6; John 14:16)
- Bible: We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the Old and New Testaments, the inspired and infallible Word of God and therein is found the only reliable guide of Christian faith and conduct ( Luke 24:44-46; Isa. 40:8; Luke 21:33; 2 Tim. 3:16-17)
- Man: We believe that God created man in His own image to bring honor through obedience, and that when man disobeyed, he became fallen and sinful creature, unable to save himself. We believe that infants are in the covenant of God’s grace and that all persons become accountable to God when they reach a state of moral responsibility ( Gen. 1:26-27; Gen. 1:28-31; Gen. 3:1-24; Matt. 9:13-15)
- Salvation: We believe that salvation (regeneration, redemption, justification, sanctification) has been provided for all mankind through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and that this salvation can be received only through repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ ( Heb. 5:9; John 3:3-8; Romans 3:20-24; Matt. 20:28; Roma. 5:10; Rom. 8:34). We believe that those who abide in Christ have the assurance of salvation. We believe that the mark of a true believer is that he or she chooses to abide in Christ, chooses to persevere in the faith and lives a life that is accountable to God( 2 Tim. 4:7; Phil. 2:12; John 15:6; Heb. 6:4-6; Col. 1:22-23; Romans 14:12; 1 Cor. 3 12:15). We believe that some professing believers will choose to fall away from the faith they outwardly confess ( 2 Tim. 4:10; 2 Tim. 2:17-18).
- Church: We believe that the Church Universal is the Body of Christ, the fellowship of believers, and that its members have been called out from the world to come under the dominion and authority of Christ, its head. We believe that a local church is a fellowship of Christians, a part of the Body of Christ, voluntarily banded together for worship, nurture and service ( Matt. 16:18; John 10:10; Matt. 18:17; Rom. 12:1; 1 Cor. 14:12; Eph. 4:11)
- Ordinances: We believe in Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances instituted by Christ to be observed by Christians only. We also believe that the Biblical mode of baptism is by immersion and that participation in the Lord’s Supper should be open to all Christians ( Matt. 3:13-15; Rom. 6:3-5; 1 Peter 3:21)
- The Lord’s Day: We believe in the sanctity of the Lord’s Day, the first day of the week, and that this day ought to be observed ( Mark 2:27-28; Luke 4:16).
- Last things: We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ, and in the bodily resurrection of the dead. We believe that God will judge all mankind by Jesus Christ; that He will reward the righteous with eternal life in heaven, and that He will banish the unrighteous to everlasting punishment in hell ( 1 Thess. 4:16-17; Rev. 20:10-15; John 5:25; Rev. 22:12; 2 Cor. 5:1)
